
TEAGLE HALL – CORNELL UNIVERSITY
Teagle Hall was constructed in 1951 and is currently occupied by the Student & Academic Services Division’s Department of Athletics & Physical Education. Teagle Hall houses the administrative offices of the Department of Athletics & Physical Education, individual athletic team offices, two pools including a viewing gallery, a rowing training tank, workout and fitness areas serving intercollegiate athletes as well as the larger university community, recreation areas and supporting locker, equipment and toilet rooms.
In 2013 a feasibility study was conducted provide a full assessment of Teagle Hall relative to accessibility challenges and obstacles for people with mobility and visual disabilities, building users and visitors. In 2015 many of the recommendations from the feasibility study were implemented in a renovation project.
Taitem provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety services for both the feasibility study and the renovation project.
