BOWERS GREENHOUSE – SUNY CORTLAND
Two greenhouses associated with the science facility at Bowers Hall were no longer serving the capacity and functional needs of the State University of NY College at Cortland. This project eliminated both existing greenhouses and replaced them with a larger greenhouse facility. The new 1,800 SF space includes a classroom and research space adequate for college studies in addition to the greenhouse.
Taitem provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design services, including HVAC specifications for the new greenhouse. Taitem worked closely with the architect and the greenhouse manufacturer to design to the appropriate specifications.
