SMITH OPERA HOUSE, GENEVA NY
Built in 1894, the Smith Opera House continues as one of the oldest operating performing arts theaters in the United States. The building is primarily composed of a 1,400-seat theater. There are supporting areas that include the lobby, concession areas, a dance studio and offices. There are restrooms, dressing rooms, and a cabaret area in the basement. Taitem also provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design services for the renovation of the restrooms, dressing rooms, and a cabaret area in the basement.
