PLANTATIONS BUILDING – MIA RESTAURANT
The Ithaca Commons is a four-block pedestrian shopping area with over 100 unique shops, restaurants, street vendors & street entertainers in the heart of downtown Ithaca. This project included the rehabilitation of the former Plantations Building at 130 East State Street located directly on the Commons. The building houses Mia Restaurant on the lower level and office and apartments in the upper stories. This gut rehabilitation project was acknowledged by Historic Ithaca for maintaining the historic elements of the building while incorporating a restaurant, offices and apartments.
