Lou Vogel, PE, LEED AP, CCP

Director of Engineering

Lou is a past President of Taitem and is Principal in Charge of its Energy + Sustainability department. Lou works on design, commissioning, and energy modeling of high-performance buildings, including large multi-family residential, institutional, and multi-use buildings. He is currently working on design of district geothermal systems and has experience with effluent-recovery systems in varied building types. He has served on ASHRAE standards and handbook committees in the area of kitchen ventilation and participated in the design of the Energy Star Pilot Program for multifamily buildings. He holds a degree in engineering from Purdue University.
