HOLT ARCHITECTS OFFICE BUILDING – ITHACA, NY
HOLT Architect’s home office and studio space in Ithaca, NY had become outdated and was no longer able to fully support the technical or collaborative needs of HOLT’s employees and their practice. HOLT purchased an older structure in a shopping strip in the West End section of Ithaca, an area focused on commercial growth and revitalization. The location is close to local businesses and restaurants, public transportation and major roadways, nearby parks and the waterfront.
Taitem provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and provided energy modeling for the renovation of this net-zero energy commercial building. The project included careful design and selection of the HVAC system, power distribution design, and lighting design in order for the client to achieve its energy goals.
