ALCOHOL AND DRUG COUNCIL OF TOMPKINS COUNTY – ITHACA, NY
This building was converted to an open access detox center with a treatment capacity of 40 patients. Taitem performed an energy audit under NYSERDA’s Commercial Tenant Program to analyze the building’s energy consumption and to find facility improvement measures. Recommendations included installing low flow devices, replacing lighting, building envelope insulation, heat pump water heater for DHW, and an air source heat pump system.
Taitem also provided structural design engineering services for the project.
