Senior Energy Analyst

Rob is a seasoned professional with deep expertise in energy audits of existing facilities and energy modeling of proposed construction. He joined Taitem in 1999 as a programmer working on the award-winning TREAT energy modeling software. Rob has worked in a variety of capacities with increasing levels of responsibility as Taitem has expanded. Current areas of specialization include:

Rob has achieved certification as an ASHRAE Building Energy Modeling Professional (BEMP), LEED AP specializing in Building Design and Construction (BD+C), BPI Multifamily Building Analyst (MFBA), and expects to attain Certified Energy Manager (CEM) in 2017. He is experienced in many construction trades, worked as a construction field superintendent, and owned and operated a general contracting business. He has completed the OSHA 10 hour training course in Construction Safety and Health. Rob holds a B.A. in Russian and Soviet Studies from Cornell University and a B.A. in computer science from Ithaca College.
