Taitem Engineering conducts comprehensive energy studies for commercial, government, industrial, and not-for-profit buildings and vehicle fleets through several programs, including NYSERDA’s FlexTechand Energy Auditprograms. Taitem Engineering provides post-construction measurement and verification services. We maintain an inventory of instrumentation, including monitoring and logging devices, giving us the capability to assure our clients that their energy improvements are performing as designed.
quality assurance
Taitem Engineering is the quality assurance contractor for New York State’s multifamily building performance programs. In this role, Taitem provides technical assistance and expert review of over 50 consultants statewide.

Taitem Engineering’s expert staff provides training in all areas of energy services, including the energy audit process, energy code compliance, and quality assurance from energy assessment to design and construction. In January 2010, Taitem Engineering, partnering with Snug Planet, was named statewide contractor to provide training and technical assistance for NYS Division of Housing and Community Renewal’s weatherization programs.
